At Bright Sky Youth Services we provide much needed accommodation and support services for young people aged 16-19 who are moving onto more independent living.

A successful move towards independent living depends on many factors and for a young person looking to do this for the first time this can be a daunting prospect.

With our dedicated and highly experienced staff we have put in place a number of key services that can prove effective in helping young people successfully move into independent living.

At Bright Sky Youth Services, we are here for young people to help as much or as little as required when and where needed. We believe in young people and the wellbeing of young people is at the forefront of what we do. The services we provide will greatly assist a young person to not only move successfully into independent living but also move forward positively for the future.

Young Peoples Placements

We support care leavers first steps towards independent living by providing a stable environment where they can develop and grow. Our placements offer the opportunity to open to be settled and explore the range of options available to help their personal development.

Young Peoples Support

At Bright Sky Youth Services, we listen, provide advice and empower young people to make a step toward self-development. We have a holistic approach to working with young people through a number of activities designed engage young people.

Emergency Referrals

At Bright Sky Youth Services, we operate a 24/7 service to respond to the need to place young people in case of emergency. As short term service will be provided while their circumstances are assessed and if needed a more appropriate longer term solution is found.

Policies and Procedures

We operate our Service according to strict guidelines and regulations of children’s Services. Every aspect of running and managing our service is set out in a comprehensive set of specific Policy documents such our safeguarding policy.

These policies ensure that we meet the statutory requirements for running a Supported accommodation Service, and cover all aspects of staffing, managing, support for our young people, and the preservation of health and safety standards where appropriate.

All of our Policies are regularly reviewed to ensure that they are kept up-to-date and in line with latest legislation and regulations.
